Description
This image shows a whole column drum and the way that the carving crosses the edges of this block with interruption reveals that it could only have been carved when this block and its neighbouring ones were in place.

Notes

The flexibility of the border between spirals and the way in which it responds to the location of the individuals beneath it is again visible in this detail.
